Our Company
Solutions in Stainless is a research and development company. We specialise in metal fabrication tasks, primarily in stainless steel and aluminium. We are located in Launceston, Tasmania, We operate a workshop of 500m2 with 5m headroom. We have the following machining abilities:

- Plasma Cutting
- Specialised welding equipment
Our Principal
The principal of Solutions in Stainless is David Coote. David has 20 years experience in the manufacturing industry. David is responsible for the development of many kinds of industrial equipment in common use today. David has acted as a principal engineer for several other notable Tasmanian companies.
David has designed and manufactured solutions such as:
- Agricultural equipment, such as tillers, rippers, seeders, etc.
- Dairying equipment such as milk tanks, milk cooling systems, and vat washing systems.
- Health care equipment such as patient lifters for hospitals.
- Many kinds of equipment for use in the food manufacturing industry, such as cooking and packing machines.
